Bibliotheca Cottoniana est collectio locupletissima codicum manu scriptorum a Roberto Bruce Cotton (mortuo 1631) saeculo XVII ineunte congesta. Bibliotheca a nepote Ioanne anno 1700 civitati Britannicae data est. Die 23 Octobris 1731 incendio multi libri deperditi sunt. Ei qui supersunt hodie in Bibliotheca Britannica servantur.
