We really should merge Ioannes and Iohannes. They really are just different spellings of the same name. I'm all for using the same standards as with other names: if we know the person in question prefers one form or the other that should be used, but I don't know what we should do in other cases. Perhapse use Iohannes only for languages where the equivalent has an actual h in it, say German, modern Hebrew, and so on.
