Is codon, codonis attested somewhere in Latin? I understand it was coined by analogy with "carbon" or "boron", which would plead for either codo, codonis or codum, codi. But if it's based on Ancient Greek -ον, as the text says, then wouldn't one expect a Greek-style genitive? Sigur (disputatio) 23:07, 3 Februarii 2020 (UTC)
