This text image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Regular and schoolbook characters.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summarium

Warning The original file is very high-resolution. It might not load properly or could cause your browser to freeze when opened at full size.
Descriptio
English: Many fonts contain 'schoolbook' or 'infant' 'a' and 'g' characters, simplified letters that are called single-story and are thought to be easier for children since they match what they write. Shown is the font EB Garamond with its regular and schoolbook versions of a and g. Single story characters are more commonly found as default in sans-serif fonts such as Century Gothic, shown at bottom.
