Blasonierung
„Das Wappen der Samtgemeinde zeigt geviert:
a) In Blau drei goldene Ähren besetzt mit silbernem Weinglas (sogenannter Römer).
b) In Gold ein sitzender, aufbrüllender, silbern bewehrter und rot bezungter Löwe, dem ein silberner Speer, um den sich der erhobene Schwanz ringelt, im Rücken steckt. Von der Speerwunde rinnt ein silberner Tropfen.
c) In Silber ein roter, silbern bewehrter, linksgewendeter, rot bezungter, aus blauen Wellen im Schildfuß steigender Löwe.
d) In Blau über goldenen Wellen im Schildfuß eine silberne Vase.“[1]
