Descriptio

Susa, Piedmont is in northern Italy. The Cathedral was bulit around 1100 and the current structure is Romanesque style.

The town has a population of 6,638 and was founded by the Gauls in 1st century AD.

Piedmont is a region of NW Italy, in the foothills of the Alps; capital, Turin. Dominated by Savoy from 1400, it became a part of the kingdom of Sardinia in 1720. It was the centre of the movement for a united Italy in the 19th century.
