DescriptioSt Buryan Church - geograph.org.uk - 90713.jpg
English: St Buryan Church. The parish of St Buryan is very old, with a recorded history going back over 1000 years. Notably, though certainly not typically, between 1328 and 1336 most of the parishioners were excommunicated. The tower is the oldest part of the church, parts probably 14th century. It is about 90 feet high and stands on some of the highest ground around here, at 400 feet or 125 metres. You can see St Buryan church tower from many distant places - it is a familiar landmark.
