Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema oraşului Ghimbav, potrivit anexei nr. 1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, în câmp roşu, se află un semn de aur format dintr-un cerc surmontat de un “T”. În vârful scutului, în câmp argintiu, se află 3 maci, având floarea roşie, tulpina şi frunzele verzi, ieşind dintr-o inimă roşie. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu 3 turnuri crenelate. Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate: Semnul de aur evocă marca juridică de odinioară a localităţii. Cei 3 maci simbolizează solidaritatea civică, curajul şi mărirea, care vin din inima omului şi sunt înfipţi în inima Ţării Bârsei. Coroana murală cu 3 turnuri crenelate semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de oraş.
