My photos are FREE for anyone to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know. Thanks I was concentrating on composing the shot to get the ferry and lighthouse at the correct time and the seagull just flew in at the right time and I wasn't even sure if I caught him in the shot at all. Punta Pezzo lighthouse is 23 metre high conical concrete tower with red and white stripes, built in 1953. The rotating optical lantern emits a green light every 15 seconds, visible for 15 nautical miles (28 km). In exceptional cases, the light is yellow, and visible for 18 nautical miles (33 km). It can be seen in the distance. The ferry is the Zancle. |
