Omschrijving: De schermschool van de Universiteit van Leiden. Interieur met studenten die schermoefeningen doen. Links een acrobaat op een paard, op de vloer geometrische patronen. Onderdeel van een groep van vier gezichten van de Universiteit van Leiden, later gebruikt als illustratie in het supplement van het boek van Meursius over de Leidse universiteit.
