The terminus of the branch line from Brasov. Mid way along the line was a sinister factory guarded by many watch towers, which was served by sidings from it. These were 2100hp Co-Co locomotives with Sulzer engines, class 060 DA of swiss design but built by Electroputere of Craiova. Over 1400 were bought by CFR Romania railways, plus others by Industrial concerns. www.derbysulzers.com/cfr2100.html The above locomotive is probably still in service.
