Locus Paracelsianus[fontem recensere]

The coining of the name "zinc" is generally credited to Paracelsus. While looking for his famous quote about satyrion, I stumbled on this:

Der zincken
Ponatur & ſuperſargatur de puluere talck & proijce, dum ſtat in fluxu & fixabitur.
Ad retinendum zincke.
Recipe Eum & tere eum & inuolue ipſum in globulum luteum instrumentum concauum, & benè lutatum, ſimul pone ad ignem horas 8. poſt imbibe in plumbo & purga per cineritium.
