Summarium

Descriptio
English: A view from the Motsameta monastery. The name of the river (Tskaltsitela) means "red water" and according to stories David and Konstantine, rulers of the area were killed and dropped into the river by Murvan the Deaf. Water got red because of the blood, hence the name. The rest of the story describes how lions dragged them out of the river and hauled up to the top of the mountain where the monastery is now. Bones of David and Konstantine are still on display and anyone who passes under the sarcofagus three times will get his wish granted.
