Usque hoc dicere melius non possum: aquam e maximis superficiebus conlingens bene mihi non sentit.

I could not for the life of me come up with a better way to say that Ol' Man River has the largest drainage area in the United States. My compromise (and I hope I did this right) was to say aquam e maximis superficiebus conligens. Something about this doesn't feel good to me, but it was the best I could come up with at the time. --Sinister Petrus 04:27 oct 12, 2005 (UTC)

Nomen fluminis ipsius (e fontibus pluribus recentius in interrete missis) "Mississippius" est. Ergo locutionem "Flumen Mississippiense" vito, quia, pace Francisco Glass, hic non habemus "flumen ad Mississippium pertinens", sed "Mississippium" ipsum.
