Vallis Níhéwān, e nomine oppidi parvi Níhéwān (litteris Sinicis 泥河湾) provinciae Hebeiensis appellata, prope urbem Dàtóng a Pechino ad occidentem et boream versus fere 350 chm distantem circa fluvios Sanggan et Huili confluentes patens, est situs habitationum hominum in Serica omnium antiquissimarum de quibus usque hodie scimus. Ibi enim reperti sunt loci archaeologici Xiǎochángliáng, Shangshazui, Donggutuo, Daodi aliique satis multi.
