I love Latin. It's the language from what most words in English derive, as well as the literal tradition in general.

It was the language I dreamt to learn from an early age, and met in various dictionaries while checking for word definitions and tracing their etymologies.

Even though I cannot talk fluently in Latin, I know many proverbs in it, and I can tell what words in English trace their origin to it.
