Trapetus vel trapetum est locus ubi oleae (aut fructus alii) in oleo compressae sunt.

Genera trapetorum[recensere | fontem recensere]

Sunt genera trapetorum tres:

Trapeti trabati: trapeti hi erant trapei machina simplex genere vectis. Ita oleae in retibus positae super base lapidea ob pondus libramenti cum trabe constrictae sunt.
Trapeti cochleati: vis facta est in oleas non cum pondere sed cum cochlea, manu vel bestia mota.
Trapeti molares: Molae rotatoriae super base lapidea in modo pistronorum oleas frangebant. Trapeti molares orti sunt Aetate Media
