Theridula emertoni est species aranearum subfamiliae Theridiinarum familiae Theridiidarum, in Civitatibus Foederatis et Canada endemica.[1] Ante annum 1954, cum species rite descripta sit, specimina saepe T. opulenta appellata sunt, ex nomine speciei cuius distributioni geographicae interest.[2] Species a T. opulenta facile per epigyne in feminis et pedipalpum in maribus distinguitur.[2]
Feminae adultae inter 1.7 et 2.8 millimetra, mares adulti inter 1.6 et 2.3 millimetra longi sunt.[2][3]
