Sura, surata, assura, assora (a nomine Arabico ال)سورة) (as-)sūra) sive azoara (a plurali eiusdem nominis السور as-suwar) est capitulum Alcorani. Dividitur quaequae Surarum centum quattuordecim in versus, ayat nominatos. Verbatim 'ayah' signum est, videlicet signum a Deo missum.
