Sophrologia (Graece σῶς 'salvus, integer' + φρήν 'mens' + -λογία 'disciplina, scientia') est artificium requietis ab Alfonso Caycedo neuropsychiatro Columbiano anno 1960 institutum et a yoga Gangetica deductum, in quo homo curandus contemplatione, meditatione, requiete utitur ad sanitatem suam reficiendam. Quod artificium adhibetur, uti dolor natalis sublevetur atque homo curandus ex cruciatu mentis corporisque convalescat.[1] Describitur, "ratio requietis fundata in firmamento conscientiae sophrologicae, statu inter somnum et vigiliam prodeunte."[2]

Artificium late in Francia et Helvetia adhibetur.[3] Quaedam operae scientiae de sophrologia his terris vulgatae sunt. Tamen non persuasibile est argumentum effectus.
