Lingua Raetoromanica est lingua coniecturalis, quam Graziadio Ascoli (1829–1907) linguista (et alii) ob artas communitates inter linguas Rhaeticam, Ladinam Foroiuliensem inventas postulari debere censuit. Secundum hanc hypothesim Lingua Raetoromanica est ramus Linguarum Romanicarum has tres linguas conplectans.
Haec hypothesis valde disputatur.
