Is it OK to use English, Lionharde? Tell me if you prefer Latin!

When you add a new article, one thing you need to do is to check other Wikipedias in case they contain an article on the topic. If so, you need to paste in the interwiki links -- copied across from that other-language Wikipedia article -- and also, very important, edit that other article to add an interwiki link listing your new Latin one. It's necessary to do this so that the search engines will find our new Latin article.

If you look at your article on Sancta Clotildis you'll see that I have added the interwiki links, and if you follow the link to the English article you'll see that there is already a link back to the Latin -- because I went in and added it there. This is what you need to do. Whenever you don't have time to do it right away, add a formula {{In progressu}} to your new article so that others will leave you to finish it off.

I'll just mention a point of doubt I have about Gregory of Tours. Before changing the name of an article, consider whether the new name will be right for the greatest number of users. In this case, I wonder. I know him as a great historian and a remarkable bishop-politician. Yes, at some later time (I don't know when, I expect you do) the Catholic church made him a saint. But is that the most important thing about him? I'm not sure. It's worth reflecting carefully.

Thank you for taking the time to write and for your useful instruction. RE St. Gregory, I wasn't sure if we should consistently have also saints :as "Sanctus, -a." For instance, it would be strange to have "Sanctus Marcus" but "Iohannes." Regarding whether Gregory or someone else was a :"politician first, Saint second" ... well, I won't be the one to judge that!

Massimo, il libro è molto corto, ed è nella forma di un dialogo fra padre e figlio sul treno. Anch'io ho letto parecchio sul soggetto, ed avendo fatto cosí, mi è diventato chiaro che in genere gli ebrei credono che Pacelli fosse un eroe, avendo salvato piú ebrei di qualsiasi altra persona od instituzione in Italia, mentre in genere sono i cattolici stessi che credono che lui fosse un Nazista! Yes, I agree that that's what should be done. Someone wrote the page with the English title; I just quickly added the redirect. I or someone should switch the two titles, I fully agree. LionhardusCiampa 11:38, 2 Octobris 2007 (UTC)
