Procellariidae (a procella[2]) sunt familia avium maritimarum ordinis Procellariiformium. Ordini etiam sunt greges Diomedeidae, Hydrobatidae, Oceanitidae, et Pelecanoides. Piscibus, decapodiformibus, et crustaceis vesci solent.

Forma cognationum phylogeneticarum inter procellariidas. In Nunn et Stanley (1998) et Bretagnolle et al. (1998) condita.
Milliones procellariidarum a Nova Zelandia ad Alascam quotannis migrant.

Taxinomia et evolutio[recensere | fontem recensere]

Familia nomine Procellaridæ a Gulielmo Elford Leach, zoologo Anglico, introducta est in libro rerum in Museo Britannico contentarum describendarum, anno 1820 prolato.[3][4]
