Paradisaeidae sunt familia avium ordinis Passeriformium. Plurimae species in Papua Nova Guinea et Australia oriente inveniuntur. Familiae sunt quadraginta duae species in quindecim genera digestae.[2] Species plumis marum specierum sexualiter dimorphicarum (maioris partis) notissimae sunt, praecipue pinnis magnopere praelongis et exquisitis ex rostro, alis, cauda, capite extendentibus. Plurimae species in densis silvis pluvialibus habitant, ubi omnes fructibus et minus arthropodis vescuntur. Eis sunt variae feturae rationes, a monogamia ad polygamiam generis lek.

Venatio et detrimentum habitationis exstinctionem certis speciebus comminantur.
