Lakṣmībāī, regina Jhansiensis (turmae equitum « sowar » dipictus)

Lakṣmībāī, regina Jhansiensis (Marathi झाशीची राणी लक्ष्मीबाई Jhāśīcī Rāṇī Lakṣmībāī) nata in Varanasi anno fere 1827/1828; proelio interfecta 17/18 Iunii 1858 ad Gwalior) fuit rebellionis Indicae anno 1857 ductrix. Lakṣmībāī a Britannis victoribus perfida nuncupata est sed a recentioribus heroina repugnationis Indicae contra colonizationem reputatur.

Annus nativitatis Lakṣmībāī ab historicis variis inter 1827 et 1835 fuisse proponitur,[1][2] sed anni 1827/1828 probabiliores censentur.[3] Diem nativitatis 19 Novembris pro certo habemus.
