Ioannes Maxwell Edmonds, in titulis librorum J. M. Edmonds notatus (natus 1875; mortuus 1958), alumnus Scholae Oundelianae, socius collegii Iesu apud Cantabrigienses, poësim Graecam recensuit Angliceque (praesertim oratione soluta) interpretavit. Opus eius, a philologis pluribus vituperatum, a tironibus assidue perlectum est.
