Anno 1990 ad Factionem Christianam Democraticam Nationalem Colonorum (Partidul Naţional Ţărănesc Creştin Democrat) accessit. Annis 1992 - 2000 legatus ad parlamentum Romaniae erat. In consilio ministrorum Victoris Ciorbea administer rerum interarum erat. Cum Victor Ciorbea se a magistratu recessisset, Dejeu pro tempore a die 30 Martii ad usque 15 Aprilis 1998 praeses ministrorum Romaniae erat.
