Deutsch: Der Gebäudekomplex Stiftskirche, Klausur und Prälatur des Augustiner-Chorherrenstiftes in der steiermärkischen Marktgemeinde Vorau. Die Gründung des Stiftes erfolgte 1163 durch Markgraf Otakar III. von Traungau. Die Stiftskirche (in der Mitte des Baukomplexes) wurde von Propst Matthias Singer nach Abbruch der alten gotisierten Basilika nach Plänen von Domenico Sciassia unter Belassung der Türme von 1660 bis 1662 von Grund auf neu errichtet. 1625 erfolgte der Neubau des Klausurgebäudes (rechts der Kirche) und 1730 wurde das Prälaturgebäude (links der Kirche errichtet. |
