Summarium

Descriptio
English: St. Michael's church The older part of the churchyard (no longer used for burials) and the tower, from the south. There has been a church on the site since 1189, but the tower seen here dates from the 1730s and the spire was added in 1855. Until 50 years ago, this area would have been a separate village surrounded by green fields, but these days it is very much a suburb of Reading. There is a very informative web page here http://www.stmichaeltilehurst.org.uk/
