Descriptio
Deutsch: Die Grundschule in Hohnstorf (Elbe) befindet sich seit 1959 im ursprünglichen Empfangsgebäude des Bahnhofes Hohnstorf. Der Bahnhof wurde zwischen 1862 und 1864 als Zoll- und Endbahnhof der Zweigbahn Lüneburg–Hohnstorf an der Lauenburg-Hohnstorfer Elb-Traject-Anstalt gebaut. Das Bahnhofsgebäude war zur damaligen Zeit nach dem Bahnhof Hannover das zweitgrößte der Königlich Hannoverschen Staatseisenbahn. Das ehemalige Bahnhofsgebäude, der davor befindliche See, der beim Bau der Trajekt-Anstalt ausgehoben wurde, und ein noch vorhandenes Teilstück des Bahndamms stehen unter Denkmalschutz.
