You'll have to give a source and more facts about Petrus Miles, or the page will be deleted.

Nisi fontem utilem textumque de rebus gestis Petri militis addis, pagina delebitur. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 17:57, 11 Ianuarii 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Gratias. Inveni unum situm referentem Petrum Milem. Non autem certus sum situm fidum esse. Plaustrarius (disputatio) 20:39, 25 Ianuarii 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 19:34, 19 Octobris 2023 (UTC)[reply]

All I meant to do was to change "mandatus est Lacelot Marin" to "egit Sacerdote Lancelot Marin directore." I didn't think it was a big deal. Maybe I accidentally deleted something at the same time. I thought the change made the sentence make more sense. Plaustrarius (disputatio) 21:38, 19 Octobris 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I can see exactly what you did, but I don't know why you did it. You started editing from an old version of the page, dating from 2020 or 2021. Since then Demetrius Talpa had made some important improvements which, by doing what you did, you "painted over".
I think, then, that when you set to work there must have been a warning just above the edit window, to the effect that "you are editing an old version". (Have I guessed right here?) Take this as a warning: you need to heed those messages and not start editing from an old version. You can now go back in and make the change you wanted to make, but make sure that you are editing the current version of the page. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 08:54, 20 Octobris 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much. I didn't realize I was editing an old version and I didn't notice the warning. I will be more careful. Thank you again. Plaustrarius (disputatio) 15:14, 20 Octobris 2023 (UTC)[reply]
