E Vicipaedia

Salve, Japan Football!

Ave! Spero te "Vicipaedianum" aut "Vicipaedianam" fieri velle! -- Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 12:50, 1 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]

De novis paginis/About new pages[fontem recensere]

Nota bene novis paginis Vicipaedicis textum litterarum 200 ad minimum, vel et plurum, necesse. Paginae breviores "non stipula" rubricantur atque (nisi augeantur) delebuntur.

You need to know that new pages on Vicipaedia must have a minimum of 200 letters of text, preferably more. Pages whose text is too short are likely to be marked as "Non stipula" (not yet a stub) and will be deleted unless more Latin text is added. De capsis[fontem recensere]

Salve!

Vide Pedilusor in omnibus commentariis tuis. IacobusAmor (disputatio) 15:40, 1 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm blocking this account because there has been no response to the above comments. If you wish to be unblocked, please explain how you intend to improve the pages you have created. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 20:08, 3 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I will improve footballers articles as much as possible. So I want you to unblock. --Japan Football (disputatio) 07:48, 4 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I'll unblock you, but please create no new articles until those you have already created are improved. They need more text. As UV says above, we do not accept articles whose information is all in infoboxes. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 10:09, 4 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Haud satis litterarum[fontem recensere]

I've just measured the first four of these articles (reading "Nuper mutata" in chronological order). Each was well below the 200-letter cutoff. Nota bene, ut noster Andreas supra dixit: "Novis paginis Vicipaedicis textum litterarum 200 ad minimum, vel et plurum, necesse. Paginae breviores "non stipula" rubricantur atque (nisi augeantur) delebuntur." IacobusAmor (disputatio) 14:00, 4 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I improved footballers articles as much as possible. But it is difficult for me about some articles. So, I will give up some articles. So, if you want to delete those articles, please do it with these footballers articles I measured and added Non stipula template (about 70 articles). --Japan Football (disputatio) 12:20, 5 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You're showing remarkable industry, and the formula implies that you have six months to lengthen the texts appropriately. In most cases, just one more medium-sized sentence would be enough. However, you might note that, unlike many of the old Romans, Vicipaedia uses punctuation, so the pattern seen in your sentence "est pedilusor Serbicus inter alia cum turma FC Valencia lusit" is what teachers & editors in North America call a run-on (and therefore wrong): "He is a Serbian soccer player he played among other things with team FC Valencia." IacobusAmor (disputatio) 13:30, 5 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Today, you're continuing to add pages with this blunder. Just two minutes ago, in Kim Yong-sik, you added "fuit pedilusor Coreae Meridionalis inter alia cum turma Keijo Soccer Club lusit." It's a shame when easily correctible errors keep multiplying. IacobusAmor (disputatio) 14:20, 5 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You seem to have added some new pages today that you know aren't long enough to be stubs. To find the number of letters in a text, go to your sandbox (harenarium), paste the text in, click "Monstrare praevisum," take the number that appears near the bottom left after "Magnitudo," and divide it by 1.1. For example, the text "Kuniharu Nakamoto (中本 邦治 Nakamoto Kuniharu?, natus in Hiroshima die 29 Octobris 1959) est pedilusor Iaponiensis, sed etiam Turmae Pediludicae Nationalis Iaponiae (1987) lusor est" has a magnitudo of 198, which amounts to 180 letters. IacobusAmor (disputatio) 13:40, 5 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]
A few minutes ago, you added an article on Katsuhiro Kusaki. Its text has 173 letters. IacobusAmor (disputatio) 13:42, 5 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Fuit, sed est?[fontem recensere]

Your newly added formula, exemplified in Kim Yong-sik and other articles, "sed etiam Turmae Pediludicae Nationalis Iaponiae (anno 1936 et 1940) lusor est," seems to imply that dead people are still playing football. The est is misleading and should be removed. IacobusAmor (disputatio) 14:08, 4 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)[reply]
