I don't see anything there that addresses my point, which is that the world supports zillions of attested names, and you could make a whole encyclopedia of them. As with names in many languages, Polynesian names can derive from virtually any word in the language. Even a term for excrement sometimes appears in such names. (Rapanui culture seems especially fond of names that are phrases with "Penis" in them.) Water Drunk at Night was an attested historical personage. I knew Rain and Sunshine Together (one person!). And then there was a family that went in for peels, so they had Banana Peel, Breadfruit Peel, Mango Peel, Orange Peel, Taro Peel, and so on. The current mayor of Honolulu has a Samoan praenomen that can be translated as Yam's Butt. The number of such praenomina is theoretically infinite, though I suppose such names in the order of magnitude of 10,000 are actually attested. And that's just for one language.
