Many other wikis, including even the French one, are taking selfie for the lemma, so that point is debatable; what's not debatable is the error of implying that selfies are taken only with digital cameras, as that's disproved by one of the article's own illustrations—and I have a selfie taken in the mirror by my grandfather in 1905, showing that his camera was most definitely not a digital one! "Selfie" is described as "the word indeed of 2013". That doesn't mean much, but what seems to be intended is that the Oxford University Press Reference Division Press Office chose the word as its English neologism of 2013. I guess this is of interest to fans of Oxford University Press Reference Division Press Office, but maybe not so much to us, especially since English is not our special focus.
