It seems to me, that Famosus filius Roisdorviae exempli gratia magister Cohlves Claus est. is a joke. --Roland2 14:16, 26 Aprilis 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree...we saw several nonsensical/joke pages about Mr. Claus back in February. Warrants delenda in my opinion.--Ioshus Rocchio 17:38, 26 Aprilis 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have added an interwiki link to de:Roisdorf and an interwiki link back to us. Maybe someone from the German WP will do a cleanup. At least we have mentioned or doubts here ... ;-) --Roland2 19:58, 26 Aprilis 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the whole article was originally a iocus, perhaps by pupils from one of the Roisdorf schools. It was simply a copy of Bonna with some words and numbers changed to fit Roisdorf, but with some mistakes, so that the latin text did not make sense at some points. The famous son of Roisdorf is probably some teacher of some of the Roisdorf schools. I doubt whether the "Freunde der Antike Roisdorf" really exist. The latin name Roisdorvia is of course also pure invention. However, as long as nobody comes up with a better alternative, we could leave it at that. (Maybe vicus Roisdorfensis or something like that was the usual way to latinise German village names.) Alex1011 22:44, 28 Aprilis 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have put a note on page de:Diskussion:Roisdorf. --Roland2 23:05, 28 Aprilis 2006 (UTC)[reply]
