Although I am sure the word exists, Stowasser does not contain the word "Ossarium". Can someone confirm this word? --UV 22:25, 16 Augusti 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe not what you wanted, but ... Ossarium, das; -s, ...ien: 1. Beinhaus (auf Friedhöfen). 2. Gebeinurne der Antike. (Duden: Das Fremdwörterbuch, 4. Auflage) ;-) --Roland (disp.) 22:32, 16 Augusti 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Does Duden say anything about the word being Neolatin or classical Latin? At least de:Beinhaus says that "Ossarium" is Neolatin, but I would prefer a reliable printed source … Thanks anyway! --UV 23:11, 16 Augusti 2006 (UTC)[reply]
[1] — according to which Justinian used the word, which makes it "post-classical". The proper spelling would seem to be ossuarium.Myces Tiberinus 11:23, 17 Augusti 2006 (UTC)[reply]
