Hmm, I've usually seen maior...cf Cato Maior, Pliny Maior, but I suppose I have seen senior, too. I'll check Perseus for frequency of term, but my hunch is on maior.--Ioshus Rocchio 17:18, 7 Iunii 2006 (UTC)

Why no mention of the Jugurthine war?
