Quippe ita est origine Emmanuhel, sed non est latine. (Sorry for my feeble attempts at latin). Of course its of the origin Emmanuhel but since it is not latin(but Hebrew), there is no need to change it, unless we use as reference the Vulgate Bible. Or if it was traditionally translated in the latin of Medieval europe, then I suppose we should change it. A similar consideration is Tomas from the Aramaic origin meaning the twin.
