Cur lesta? Habemus fontem? --Xaverius 23:29, 3 Iunii 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Est verbum optimum, sed Graecum. An aliquis ante nos hoc verbum Latine converterit, nescio. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 08:33, 4 Iunii 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ubi est lesta ? Et ubi est wiki Graecum?~ IacobusAmor 11:19, 4 Iunii 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Why make a dispute of it? I was just trying to be helpful. The Greek word is λῃστής: it's in any ancient Greek dictionary. The question is not, is it Greek? but, do we need it and has it previously been used in Latin? On that, I haven't commented. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 12:35, 4 Iunii 2011 (UTC)[reply]
One took Est verbum optimum, to mean 'It's the best word' [to be the lemma of a Latin article on Filibuster]. If it's the best word for this concept, why wouldn't it be the lemma of the article on it in the Greek wiki? or doesn't the Greek wiki have such an article yet? Ah, I see now. I just meant "it's a very good word, but in a different language". Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 13:51, 4 Iunii 2011 (UTC)[reply]
