I think the word chronicon won't do as 3rd declension. I took it as a Greekish genitive plural (Chronicon libri, like Satyricon libri), and therefore I made the accusative chronica. Others might disagree ... Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 11:41, 30 Iunii 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Myces, yes, at any rate that entry seems to support me in making the acc. pl. chronica! But the form chronicon, from which Xaverius and I both started, must be wholly medieval: I can't find examples in Lewis & Short.
