Hortus Plantarum Lutetia is bad Latin because Hortus and Lutetia are both nominatives and there's nothing to relate them to one another. There are two options. If we feel sure of the name Hortus Plantarum Lutetiae (Garden of Plants of Paris) we can call it that. If it is more commonly called just Jardin des Plantes (and I think maybe it is) then we can translate that name, Hortus Plantarum, and add (Lutetia) to distinguish it from other possible horti plantarum. Oops. I was thinking of another of your commentarii. This Hortus Plantarum Lutetia looks like an ungrammatical phrase. Don't confuse it with the encyclopediaese of the title "Hortus Plantarum (Lutetia)," in which wiki custom puts the parenthetical item in the nominative case.
