"Haec symbola nihil de Wik.Anglica mutuata est, quae multa continet ad rem ipsam haud pertinentia"—Nihil? If James Whitcomb Riley first (or most famously) formulated the phrase (hence the title of this article), why shouldn't he be cited in the references or the bibliography?
