Just as a curiosity, you're now translating English 'deity' ("a being, natural, supernatural or preternatural, with superhuman powers or qualities") as divinitas. With what Latin word do you then suggest we translate English 'divinity' ("the state of things that come from a supernatural power or deity, such as God, and are therefore regarded as sacred and holy")?
