We have asked for a source, and no one could find one, so I have moved to Daegu which seems to be the preferred modern spelling. The Catholic page gives an adjective "Taeguensis" and an older Latin phrase "de Taiku", which don't support any invention of a Latin noun form. If someone finds one, or if there is good reason to prefer Taegu, we can move again. Otherwise, our rule is to adopt the standard international transliteration if there is one.
