Grammatica[fontem recensere]

In proelio vulnus factus sepultusque in tumulo est a suis. = 'A wound in battle was mood and byried in a mound by its own people'. ("Mood and byried" to show that factus and sepultus can't modify the neuter noun vulnus, but they have to, so they do, kicking & screaming all the way.) The Latin translation (see the archive.org link, which gives the whole book) is said to be not very good, but it does have a good index and a full index of names. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 20:14, 30 Octobris 2019 (UTC)[reply]
