What is correct?

The question is: Are we speaking of father and son or of one person? --Rolandus 15:46, 25 Martii 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There are really two, father and son. The father betrayed Sora in 315 or 306. The son was consul 258 and was the more notable of the two. Der kleine Pauly prefers the form Calatinus (for both) but admits that Caiatinus also occurs. It is silly to use a different spelling for father and son (as de: does). A.f. is correct for the son, so if we want an article for his father we should use the same name without A.f. That's what I think ... Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 18:23, 25 Martii 2007 (UTC)[reply]
