Bibliotheca Rylandiana[1][2] (Anglice John Rylands Library) condita est Mancunii in vico Deansgate anno 1899 ab Enriqueta Augustina Rylands vidua ut Ioannem Rylands maritum commemoraret. Usque ad annum 1972 fuit bibliotheca publica civibus Mancuniensibus destinata; eo autem anno cum Bibliotheca Universitatis Mancuniensis contributa est. Collectiones locupletissimas comprehendit librorum manuscriptorum et antiquorum.
