Antenna Yagi–Uda trium elementorum ad communicationem per spatia longinqua (unda caelorum) in regionibus undarum brevium a statione idiotica adhibita. Elemento longo, reflectori(laeva), elemento acto (media), et directori brevi (dextra), est laqueus ut dicitur (proprie circuitus LC parallelus), qui secundum eorum conductores quoque latere inseruntur, ut antenna in pluribus quam uno spatio frequentiarum adhibeatur sinentes.
Antenna Yagi–Uda, vulgo antenna Yagiensis[1] appellata, est antenna directionalis quae in multis elementis parallelis recta linea positis consistit,[2] plerumque dipolis dimidii undae virgis metallis factis.[3] Antennae Yagi–Uda consistunt in uno elemento acto ad transmittorem vel receptorem radiophonicum per lineam transmissionis conecto, atque additis "elementis parasiticis," quae ad transmittorem vel receptorem non conectuntur; quod est reflector et unus aut plures directores.[3][4][5]
Quae antenna inventa est anno 1926 a Shintaro Uda in Universitate Imperiali Tohokuensi in Iaponia et Hidetsugu Yagi socio.[6]
