Xantho est genus Brachyurorum familiae Xanthidarum, quod quinque species exstantes comprehendit,[1] quarum omnes in Oceano Atlantico boreo-orientali et Mari Mediterraneo habitant[2]:

Quinque species ex documentum fossile? (Anglice: fossil record) agnoscuntur, quarum una iam exstat.[3]
