Ioannes Betjeman Eques (Londinii die 28 Augusti 1906 natus; mortuus in Daymer Lane vici Trebetherick Cornubiae die 19 Maii 1984), alumnus Collegii Marlburiensis et mox Collegii Magdalenae apud Oxonienses, fuit scriptor, poeta et diurnarius Britannicus, qui se in Who's Who poet and hack ("poetam et scribam mercenarium") appellavit. Unus ex sodalibus qui Societatem Victorianam condiderunt, architecturam Victorianam vehementer defendit. Cursum vitae diurnista coepit, sed finivit unus ex poetis laureatis Britannicis populo acceptissimis homoque amatissimus in televisione Britannica visus.

Betjeman architecturam habuit demonstrationem aspectabilem vitae animi societatis conformationisque civilis et oeconomicae. Speculatores ministrosque minutos oppugnavit propter quod appellavit eorum rapacitatem et inopiam cogitationis.
